A Universe of Love

written at age 14

The world could stop spinning on and on                                            

Frowning upon the stars                                                                                               

But as long as I have you in my life

Those problems seem so small

The sea can break beneath my feet.                                                            

Like an earthquake at it's peak                                                                     

But as long as you are beside me

I have no worries at all

Buildings could come crashing down                                                                          

And everything could change

But we are carved on the wall                                                                       

And we will stay the same

The moon and the earth could collide   

Like two sides at war                                                                                        

But you are my eternal peace                                                                        

Our empire of love can never fall                                                                 

As the years pass us by

And many things come and go

Although things may change around us

Our love will stay the same
