Who am I?

I graduated with honors in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University in 2022. Raised in New York City and now based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I serve as the Lab Manager of the Neurospirituality Lab at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where I oversee research at the intersection of neuroscience, spirituality, and psychology.

My current work centers on two major projects: completing a large-scale randomized clinical trial comparing mindfulness and prayer interventions, and working to map a brain circuit for self-transcendence — the capacity to feel connected beyond the self. These projects reflect my broader interest in how contemplative practices and neuroscience together can illuminate new pathways for mental health and human flourishing.

I have also been writing poetry for as long as I can remember, and I feature selected offerings here on my site. Poetry continues to be a way for me to explore the inner landscapes that complement my scientific and contemplative work.

Beginning in January 2026, I will also teach Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) courses, supporting others in cultivating kindness, balance, and resilience in their daily lives.

Outside of work, I find joy in outdoor adventures, yoga, cooking, and dance. My path is guided by curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to bridging science and spirit, with the hope of nurturing healing and connection wherever they are most needed.
